Keyboard shortcuts

Every keyboard shortcut in Studio, by where you use it. Switch between Mac and Windows keys at the top of the page.

Shortcuts work in the web and desktop apps. The keys below follow your Keys choice (Mac or Windows) at the top of the page. In Studio, press Cmd+/ for the shortcuts that work where you are, and change any of them in Account › Keyboard (how).

`Delete` on an empty row	Delete the row

Arrow keys	Select a card and move around

Grids

Keys	What it does
Double-click empty space	New tile
`Cmd` + scroll, or pinch	Zoom around the pointer
`Space` + drag	Pan
`Shift` + click	Add a tile to the selection, or take it out
`Cmd`+`A`	Select every tile
`Cmd`+`C` / `Cmd`+`X` / `Cmd`+`V`	Copy / cut / paste
`Delete`	Remove the selected tiles
`Esc`	Clear the selection

The drawer and the dashboard

Keys	What it does
`↑` / `↓`, `Enter`	Move through files, open one
`→` / `←` / `Cmd`+`↑`	Into a folder, back out, up to the parent folder
Type a name	Jump to the first matching file
`←` / `→` on the dashboard	Hop between lists side by side

The typewriter

Keys	What it does
`Enter`	Carriage return; twice for a new paragraph
`Delete`	Back one space and lift the letter
`Option`+`Delete` / `Cmd`+`Delete`	Lift the last word / the whole line
`Cmd`+`Enter`	Roll in a fresh sheet
`Cmd`+`R`	Black or red half of a two-color ribbon
`Esc`	Hide or show the controls
