The rest of the page disappears so you can write one line at a time. Press Escape when you are done, and it lands in your file.
Press the letter right after Ctrl+T and it runs at once. Pause instead, and the list appears. Needs a file open.
Get it on your BYOK

- 1Download both files, the first time.
- 2Put them in the Scripts folder on the BYOK's card.
- 3Restart the BYOK, then press Ctrl+T.
Already using this tool? Keep your focus.dat. It is a spare of your current sitting. A fresh one throws that spare away, not the file you are writing.
How to use it
Hide the rest of the page. Write one line at a time, in the middle of an empty screen.
Using it
Press Ctrl+T, then f. The screen clears and a single line waits in the middle.
Type as you normally would. When the line fills, it moves on and you keep going. Enter starts a new paragraph. Backspace works. Nothing scrolls, nothing else is shown.
Press Escape when you're done. Everything you wrote is added to your file at the cursor, and your page comes back.
- Good to know
- Press Escape to put what you wrote into your file. Turning the BYOK off first does not save it there.
- A spare copy of the sitting is kept on the BYOK's card, so it comes back the next time you open Focus. You still press Escape to land it in your file.
- A very long sitting may not all fit in the spare. Press Escape when you are done, and it is in the file.
- You can't go back through earlier lines while in Focus. It is for getting words down, not for editing them.
- What it can touch
A tool can only do what is listed here. Nothing else. This one can:
- Take over the screen: Only for tools you run when you ask
- Change the document: Insert or replace text in your writing
- Read what it has saved: Read its own notes or shortcuts
- Save for next time: Remember notes, shortcuts, or a count
